LADIES – Match Play Events

Note: Entrants must have returned a minimum of three qualifying cards (competition or supplementary) in the twelve months prior to the closing date. Handicaps must remain ‘competition’ throughout the duration of the competitor’s involvement in the competition.

Entry by signing the list posted in the clubhouse and payment of an entry fee. Opponents are to be drawn. Dates for rounds are to be determined by the Ladies committee.

Substitutions are allowed in pairs knockouts, for those persons suffering injury or leaving the club and hence having to withdraw. Such substitutions will only be allowed BEFORE the end of the first round and BEFORE any game has been played by that pair, after that no substitutions are allowed.

Winners of each round to contact next opponents within 4 days of round closing to arrange next game and book on timesheet when open. Both pairs are responsible for doing this.

In the event that one side are unable to play their match by the set date, they should contact the opposition to concede the match or if both pairs are unable to play then a decision as to who should go through can be decided by means of a toss of a coin or a putting competition but no other form of golf.

Winners are responsible for putting name forward on board; if this is not done by the end of the round BOTH sides will be scratched.

In finals, where possible, a referee should be in attendance, usually one of the last year’s winners.
