Week 2 of lockdown has typically seen some dry weather where I'm sure many of us would have loved to be playing. Tracey and I took the opportunity to tend to some of the flower beds and it was lovely to see members availing themselves of the course for a walk. It was particularly great to see Jon Copley out and about. We will all be keenly watching to see when we can return to the course to play. Our next scheduled competition is the Winter Greensomes on the 9th December. This may be subject to change, depending on any government restrictions.
A few reminders;
The weekend of 22/23rd November sees a campaign from Noah's Ark called Moments that Matter
. All donations received over this weekend ( and indeed in the week leading up to it) will be doubled by benefactors and supporters of the charity. I'd like to point out that The Ark will not be receiving any money from the BBC`s Children in Need Appeal this year and if you would normally support this could I request that you donate to my charity instead. I will be sending out a link for donating next week, both on WhatsApp and F.B. A huge thank you in advance. Members at BHPGC are always very supportive of charities and I know sometimes it feels as if there are constant charity requests, but with this being a "double up donation" I don't want to miss the opportunity to raise extra cash.
Please remember to let Alison have your locker number.
If you are considering updating or replacing your Pearson/ 5 a side jumper, please speak to Danny. Sunderland do a very nice turquoise and white zip up top.
Lisa would like to remind us all to ensure we have the latest IG app installed on our phones. This should be version 2.2.4
Sadly, I have to report that Pat Turner is back in ICU and is indeed very unwell. Our love and thoughts go to Pat, Dave and family.
