Lady Captain's Announcements
If you haven't already signed up for one of the Christmas parties please do so asap! There are still places for both the formal party on the Dec 9th and the informal on the 16th. Perhaps we can organise a ladies table for the 9th when I will be attending with the Captain, I will come round and ask if anyone is interested next week.
Thank you to Lesley Avent for organising a bulb planting again today and to Sharon and Hazel for helping. They have made great efforts over the last two weeks and hopefully we will now have a lovely display of daffodils next year.
We held the rules quiz plus Q&A and wine and nibbles last night and a very nice time was had by all. We will be holding a similar evening in January, date to be announced, and hopefully more of you will attend.
The NQ winter comps began today and if comments to me are anything to go by we all had a good time and enjoyed the format.
The Turkey trot is to be separated from the fourball draw on Dec 3rd and is now to be held on Dec 17th. It was envisaged that it will be of a similar format to the drive in where people put their names on the timesheet in groups of men, ladies or mixed on whichever tee you choose from those available. However a few of the men have suggested that it continue as a draw on the day and we are asked which we would have a preference for. Of those ladies present there was no preference.
Remember that the Christmas decorations to be put up on MONDAY Nov 27th and as many helpers as possible will be greatly appreciated.
