Lady Captain's Announcements
Well the weather was a little better today and many wimps dropped out at the first sign of rain, however it the sun came out about half way through and it was nice to be out in the fresh air. The golf wasn't so good, at least not for me with a whole 19 points on my card and np I didn't enter the 9 hole comp! So congratulations to Silver Division winner: Roz Margey 30 points, Bronze winner: Penny Bushe 25 points and Copper winner: Rita Kapur 25 points. Unfortunately the 9 hole competition was abandoned due to technical problems.
Jenny Benge is running for my charity Alzheimer's UK on Sunday March 25th and a sponsorship form will be put in the locker room, plus you can sponsor her through the website via my charity box on the Lady Captain's page.
The sign-up list for the spring meeting has now gone up in the locker room, for you all to book in, am and corresponding, colour coded, pm slots. Most of you seem to have made use of this and hopefully we will have better weather by April 4th.
The first session for the Pearson side went very well on Tuesday and those of us that took part were very pleased with our short game practice, as I am sure you could see from Alison's bunker shot in Danny's newsletter. There is a sign-up sheet in the locker room for the second Pearson practice which will be an hr session with Danny and a maximum of 10 persons per session. The second session is on Tuesday April 10th. Please sign up asap so that we know who to expect.
Do remember that Pauline is collecting 1&2 litre milk bottle tops in aid of the London Air Ambulance. If you can please collect these, give them a quick rinse and bring them to the club we will provide a collection container in the locker room.
