Day 16

I'm finding my creative writing juices are not flowing very freely, they must have evaporated in the heat, luckily alcoholic juices are flowing steadily!
I was wondering what to put in my blog this week, I almost resorted to a picture of the Captain in his speedos! Luckily along came our little star Jessica who this week has won the World Junior qualifier in her age group at Woodhall Spa! An outstanding achievement, thoroughly deserved! I believed her handicap is down to 5 now and she goes forward to the next stage in California next year.
Talking of 5, our 5-a-side Captain Lesley Avent won this week's Stableford with 37 points, from her sister Tracey Ripsher with 33, those Fielder sisters get in everywhere! Uma Annaradnam won Div. 2, also with 37 points, from Alison Towndrow on 33, there is a certain symmetry in those results, well done all.
This is my last blog from 'foreign climes', I had hoped that we would be trapped here by Brexit happening on 31st but alas it's not to be! Weather permitting I will be back on the course next week.
If you haven't already done so please sign up for the Christmas Party on 29th November. Bottles please for bottle stall and donations for Christmas Fayre from next week.
See you all next week.
