Ladies' Captain's Announcements
Here I am back from Dubai where I had an amazing week including playing the Emirates golf course. I am sorry I did not bring the weather back with me.Congratulations to Alison Towndrow who won the play off for the Bisque Salver - the first trophy of the season. Our season swings into action with the big match Captain v Vice followed by a meal. Sarah would like more names on the lists for the triangular matches.
The committee have decided it is better to have two divisions for medals and stablefords as the handicaps split more fairly this way. Division 1 will be handicaps 0 to 25 and division 2 will be for handicaps 26 to 54 . This will be revised on a yearly basis.
On the sick list we have Mia waiting for an operation and Dawn whose wrist has to be in plaster for another six weeks. We wish them well.
Guy Saunders is still looking for pledges for the new toilet facility. No money is needed at present, just a promise. If we don't raise enough ourselves we will not get outside sponsorship.
