Ladies Captain's Announcements

Chris Robertson - Ladies Captain

I am sorry I didn't have influence over the weather this week as it was a pretty miserable day but just to prove us all wimps we had two great scores of 39 points from Wendy and Janet. Well done both of you.

I visited Marie Hollingworth on Monday as she had come home from hospital. She had an abyss on her pace maker and had two operations so is feeling sore. She will not be playing golf for at least two months so we wish her well. I am sure she would welcome visitors.

Joyce had her veins done and is also a bit sore but recovering at home.

On Sunday we have the Iris Sumner which was rearranged and have three fours which is good at short notice.

The Christmas Fayre on December 6th is nearer than you think and Hazel wants volunteers to make cakes and jams etc. She will be harassing you with her infamous list as will I for bottles. Next week is the last qualifying stableford and from now until Christmas we have draws for partners and will try some much needed match-play so watch out for lists. If you are away at any time email me and I will put your name up.

I will be putting up the list for my away weekend soon. There are 20 places booked for Bowood so it will be first come first served and then a reserve list. As soon as you have signed up please give a deposit of £30 to Sue Collins who has paid a lot of money up front. Thank you Sue.

Chris
